Dogs-n-Donuts began with a hope to bring people and their pets together with delicious, healthy, and organic treats. The owner Christa Parsons, is a personal trainer who decided to make this dream a reality in Tucson, AZ by combining her experience in the food industry and her passion for fitness to develop her unique recipe for baked donuts that provide satisfaction without the guilt. What started out as a hobby, grew into a small business when Christa started to sell a variety of delicious donuts, energy bites, and bars for her clients at the gym.
Everything changed when she adopted her miniature poodle, Pete. The ingredients in the people donuts are mostly dog-safe, so Christa decided to tweak her recipes a bit and try her hand at dog treats. Just like the donuts for people, these "doggie donuts" were a huge success. In time, Christa had a variety of sweets for humans and dogs alike, motivating her to open Dogs-n-Donuts to make getting handmade, organic snacks easier for people and their pets.
Dogs-n-Donuts has grown quite a bit since opening, now offering handmade and decorated doggie cakes, fresh brewed coffee from a local coffee roaster, seasonal goodies for both people and dogs, and hosting a variety of events right here in the store.
